This is another one from the remake factory of Priyadarshan. This time the film is remade from the Malayalam hit Summer In Bethlehem. Shaam and debutant Trisha are in the lead cast of Lesa Lesa. The story is set in a hill station (Ooty) where a rich man (Radha Ravi) comes with his five grand daughters (four of them are Mumbai models) for vacation. The fifth girl Bala (Trisha) is very smart, and she is the favourite of her grandfather. But she has some secret, which nobody knows. All of them stay in their cousin Chandru’s (Vivek) farmhouse and the girls meet Rakesh (Shaam) who is Chandru’s best friend. Rakesh is an orphan, who is very hard working and he actually owns the farmhouse. The girls play all sorts of pranks on the guys and slowly Rakesh falls in love with Bala. But she shocks him, by telling him, that she has a lover (Madhavan in a cameo role) who is in jail. This forms the climax of the film. Two Malayalam stars Sreenivasan and Innocent are roped in for comedy. The film is a full-length comedy entertainer. The film is produced by Vikram Singh (of 12B fame). Also in the cast are Vivek, Radha Ravi, Cochin Haneefa, Satyapriya, Mayilsamy and Fatima Babu. The film has music by Harris Jajaraj and cinematography by Thiru. Art is by Sabu Cyril, editing by N. Gopalakrishnan and the choreography by Kala and Prasanna.
